Your dentist knows many diseases can cause signs and symptoms in and around the mouth and jaw area. More than 120 diseases, including cancer, diabetes, and heart disease have symptoms that can be identified through an oral exam. Thus, oral health is an important part of your overall health. Besides having a great healthy smile, visiting your dentist can help save you or a family member. By being a credit union member you are now eligible for dental insurance through UMFSA and Delta Dental.

As a member, you will receive an insurance card from Delta Dental along with a web site where you will be able to track your account.

Delta Dental benefits are offered through our Silver, Gold, and Platinum Plans.

Silver Plan benefits include up to 50% coverage for Preventive services such as oral exams, cleanings, and bitewing x-rays.
*Coverage up to 50% for crowns, dentures, and other dental procedures considered Basic or Major services.

Gold Plan benefits include up to 100% for Preventive services such as oral exams, cleanings, and bitewing x-rays.
*Coverage up to 50% for crowns, dentures, and other dental procedures considered Basic or Major services.

Platinum Plan benefits include up to 100% for Preventive services such as oral exams, cleanings, and bitewing x-rays.
*Coverage for root canal therapy that falls in the Basic service category will be paid up to 80%. Crowns, dentures, and other dental procedures that are considered Major services will be paid up to 50%.

*The deductible is waived for Preventive services. The annual maximum benefit is $1,000.00 per member.
*There is a $50 dollar annual deductible per member and up to $150 per family for Basic and Major services only.

There is no waiting period to use your benefits. Benefits become effective on the first day of the month after signing up for the plan.

A Schedule of Benefits booklet will be mailed to all members along with their insurance cards.
