
The Ask-A-Nurse
program is designed to provide members with information
about personal health issues any time of the day or night.
Registered nurses are on call 24-hours a day, 7 days a week,
to provide members with advice about a wide range of issues,
including:
Practical solutions for minor injuries and illnesses
How to get ready for your doctor visits and what
you should ask your physician
Suggestions for wellness practices (proper diet,exercise,
smoking, etc.)
How to understand the choices available to you for
health care
Advice on prescription and over-the-counter medications
Where to find more information about medical conditions
Where to contact support groups for specific conditions
The goal is to help members become better informed about
health issues and to know how to obtain additional support
for themselves and their families. Please be assured that
all calls are handled in strictest confidence.

in case of an emergency. Members should call their local
emergency number in case of emergency.
